Final Week.

So this week is the week where we turn in our projects. I know our film is going to be great. Earlier this week I saw one of my directors very frustrated and I even saw her cry. I felt so bad because I never thought that she was so stressed out. I want to take the time and apologize to her if I didn't put in as much as my effort in. I'm so sorry Jachelle. I'm proud to have been in your group and can say I had a great time working with you, Alexa, Mark, and Jose. I'm excited to how it will turn out. !

Film...

So far I know my directors have been very stressed out because there has been an issue with our shooting schedule and I know that there has been awful communication with some of the actors and people in our group. As of now many of the people in our group find it very hard to attend the days we are shooting for certain responsibilities outside of school. I personally have to admit that I have found it extremely difficult and I apologize to my group for that. I some how feel that in the class there is a competition with the other groups on who's film is going to be better. I personally think that all three films will be great because the stories and the people working on these films know what they are doing. I'm so far trying to ignore comments that will set me off like I have done in the past. But then again I can only control myself so much. All I can say is that the people who know how I am should really warn this person and tell them that they really shouldn't push my buttons. That is all :)

Best Supporting Actor Nominees

Its that time of year where we begin to anxiously wait for the Oscars to premier so we can see what the Academy believes is the best actor/actress, movie, director ect. So far there are many prediction in who can win for best supporting actor. According to the website "Indiewire" who have already made their predictions they believe that Tommy Lee Jones from "Lincoln" will win, but the believe that who really deserves the Oscar this year is Philip Seymour Hoffman for his performance in "The Master". Although anyone could win. I believe that they can make any predictions they would like but in reality it is all up to what the academy believes was the best performance. Many may say that Alan Arkin did a good job and others may say that Robert De Niro had an amazing performance. In my opinion I think that they all had amazing performance. I absolutely loved Tommy Lee Jones had a very good performance in Lincoln.
This article caught my eye because many people have their opinions on who deserves each award for what. As a film student the Oscars have an impact on me because they will for sure open our eyes to whose should be watching and what is just a waste of our time and our money which includes why it has an impact as consumers, because we invest our money into going to watch these movies. My questions are, do the nominees support one another since they are colleagues ? And what will all these people who have taken the time to make their predictions say if they predicted completely wrong ?
