Mary Jane is back too. Although she will not be played by Kristen Dunst, people are saying that the role will be given to Shailene Woodley, the main character in the hit t.v. show The Secret Life of an American Teenager and she played a part in The Descendants. Sources say that Spider-man 2 will be released on May 2, 2014 and will in deed be in 3D. The role of Spider-man will be played by Andrew Garfield. Lets hope she does get the role.
I chose this article, because it was is about Spider-man and because it seemed interesting ! As a film student it affects me because I get to learn about the different role that are being given to actors. As a consumer it affects me because I like Spider-man and I will go watch it. My only question is how many people like the idea of Shailene getting the role ? And how many people will go and see the movie !

ReplyDeleteThe new Spider-man movie was soooo much better than the old ones. Sorry Spencer lol :P I think Kirsten Dunst was unlikable as MJ, so I cannot wait to see what Shailene does differently to make MJ more fun and less of a flat, annoying, helpless character.

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the new spiderman movie so I can't say anything about it but I have watched the old ones & I loved them. Hopefully the New one is as good. I'm not sure how the fans may react to Shailene Woodley playing the role of Mary Jane.?
ReplyDeleteI have not seen the new Spiderman Movie either. But I am sure Shailene Woodley would do a great job in playing the role Mary Jane. I wonder if people would change their view on wanting to watch the move just because Shailene is going to play Mary Jnae.
